Chevron

Got a call from Chevron yesterday on a business cards. Claimed that our account is over 60 days past due for over $6,000. Which we knew was not true - our current month bill is not due until 9-29, and never have more than $2,000 a month. After more than 15 minutes, finally figured out they got the wrong company. However, she still tried to get us to pay by phone. We received the same call again this morning. Is this a scam? Running by Chevron, trying to get customer to pay early? Also adding on a service charge?

I recently received my June 2009 statement from Chevron/GEMB. Upon reviewing my statement, I noticed a $29 late fee charge for a balance of 178.49 which was paid in full. Chevron/GEMB claims my payment in full arrived one day late and will not remove the $29 late...

Some of the worst customer service I have encountered. I cancelled my card after twenty years before being activated with the National Guard.

I did not want any extra hassles while I was gone. When I returned home I found that the card had not been cancelled and that they had charged me for the travel club and late fees. When I tried to call and talk to them about it, they would not talk to me because it had been sent to Encore collections. The only recourse was to pay the fee so that I could cancell the card again with Chevron.

I will not be buying their gasoline any more either. I have seen enough of oil companies and their practices.

Looking forward to a post on the class action suit. Thanks.

Chevron review in San Diego, California: Arrogant Carwash - said they'd do a good job and didn't

I brought my car in to be washed after noticing that vandals had thrown eggs on it. On checking in, the order person told me that eggs were hard to remove, so I asked him if they were going to be able to get it off. He said yes, and said we could send it through again if needed. When it came out, it was not clean. My wife asked if they could do anything, and everyone played ignorant until she asked to speak to a manager. When the "manager" came up, he was rude and simply said "we're not washing it again" and walked away. We confronted him and said we would file a complaint and all he said was "go ahead" and just turned and walked away.

Chevron review in Birmingham, Alabama: Gas prices raised over $1.00 per gallon in a day.

I stopped at a gas station- Chevron on 411 in Leeds gas was $3something per gallon in morning I had heard was up to $3.89 etc after I pumped it realized this station had raised to $4.89 for regular after I drove off realized the Chevron up the road $4.14 and Raceway $3.99 I was price gouged by almost $1.00 per gallon I want a refund. Not to mention to receipt came out when I used my credit card. How can I get back at this station for charging so much. My name is Karen Barnett 205-253-8447. I want to expose this station for taking advantage of people-especially people in a hurry.

Are they supposed to never raise their prices? Answer: they can.

Your fault. There is no fixed price on gas throughout the day and they just decided to change it in the middle of it.

Before assuming that it was Chevron Corporation, find out if it is a Franchise or Dealer store. They have every right to raise the price.

Chevron and Texaco online payment poorly designed website

Chevron & Texaco online account poorly designed. If you want to use more than one bank account to make a payment, you have to re-register each time you want to make a change. Other companies offer a drop-down menu to select more than one payment option ... why can't Chevron & Texaco design a better system? It certainly isn't for lack of funds!!! They charge more per gallon than most other gas companies. You would think they would treat their customers better than they do. We feel they absolutely have no concept of true customer service... they just grab the sales and run!

Don't fprget that when they updated their service to make it "SAFER" for the customers, they also made it more of a pain, it can take up to 10 minutes to log in.
